Recently, AGL Agemar, in cooperation with Robema NV, undertook the handling of welded pipes to transport them from Gemlik, Turkey, to Antwerp, Belgium by voyaged chartered vessel. Agemar’s team handle 256 bundles of welded pipes that weighed 1500 tons.
Agemar’s team conducted all process at the port for two days, which included organising the lashings, securing the pipes, and installing dunnage under the deck, where the pipes were firmly placed. Their team was also responsible for surveying all process at the port. Once the pipes were locked in place, the chartered vessel left for Antwerp and completed a smooth sailing.
